The CLIMB

Move with Strength. Live with Confidence.

Indiana Parkinson Foundation are committed to giving people with Parkinson’s disease their lives back through active engagement in The CLIMB.

The CLIMB is more than just a program, it’s a symbol of the journey with Parkinson’s.  Like the song reminds us, “It’s not about how fast you get there, it’s about the climb.” Every step, no matter how small, is an act of strength and courage.  For those living with Parkinson’s, the path may bring challenges, but it also brings moments of hope, resilience, and victory.  The CLIMB celebrates perseverance and reminds us that the journey itself is filled with purpose, progress, and possibility.

These classes are a wonderful way to get to know others living a similar journey, while benefitting from a program specifically designed to improve PD symptoms.

DISCLAIMER: Exercises performed in this video will be done at your own risk. Please pause the video between exercises if you feel the routine is too fast for you. We suggest that you never exercise alone. Indiana Parkinson Foundation is not responsible for any injuries or complications that may arise from this material. Always consult your physician before starting any new exercise routine.

Our program is evidence-based and rooted in practice. Physical activity has been advocated for as an adjunct intervention for individuals with PD for years. This is rooted in practice from numerous publications spanning a few decades. IPF has then expanded upon this with partners at multiple R1 research institutions to yield evidence-based results on the benefits of our physical intervention protocols as they relate to Parkinson’s disease (PD), its symptoms, and its stages.
