Making a Difference in Our Lives
When my wife, Gracie, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2018, we embarked on a journey we were ill-equipped for. We were at the second level of ignorance – we didn’t know what we didn’t know. Thankfully, our neurologist recommended The Climb, and it wasn’t too long before we found a community of people who were on this same journey with us and were more than willing to encourage us and point the way and give us hope. And the focal point for this community was Kim Williams and the Indiana Parkinson’s foundation. Thus began the virtuous cycle of others who could guide and support us, making us more confident and resourceful until we were able to help others who were starting their journey.
Gracie and I are grateful for the many organizations that provide resources to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. But the one we have chosen to personally support in every way we are able is the Indiana Parkinson’s Foundation. More than any other organization, they are the ones who have really made a difference in our lives.
Will you donate today and help IPF reach more people like Harry and Grace?
